Who is this for?

DELF A1 is the foundational level for French. Designed for those new to the language, it enables basic communication in day-to-day situations.

Course Highlights

• Greetings, introductions, numbers, days, months, time, and date
• Vocabulary for family, relationships, colors, food, and common places
• Essential grammar: subject pronouns, present tense, basic verbs, negation, articles, simple questions
• Conversational skills for introductions, hobbies, daily activities, directions, and making purchases
• Basic writing: forms, messages, letters, and postcards
• French etiquette and cultural traditions

Exam Structure

• Listening (20 min, 25 pts): Understand brief conversations, announcements
• Reading (30 min, 25 pts): Comprehend signs, short texts, descriptions
• Speaking (5-7 min, 25 pts): Short dialogues, personal info, role-play
• Writing (30 min, 25 pts): Simple forms, messages, personal letters
• Pass mark: 50/100
